If i were to install Linux on my, spare netbook. Would i have to keep using my USB like i do on this computer ? It,s USB ISO not installed. With USB ISO it only allow,s like 4.2 GB of space, i think.
It wouldnt take much more GB of space, but right now 4.2 GB isnt much. My netbook is only 1 GB.
Windows 7 Starter ( newbie ) i have been for a long time. Thanks Chuck

If you install Linux Mint to your hard drive, it'll boot straight from it :)

You can even dual boot Linux Mint and W7 if you wish, but you can also wipe the hard drive clean and use only Linux.

You all do a great job helping people that go to PC Help Forums. You all have helped me, many times. This is the one and only, forum i ever use. Your answers are quick in response and very precise to. To all of You Thank,s Very Much.

I say iam a newbie. I have been messing with computers at least 5 years or so, Windows iam about average. But Linux i havent used it but very little. I can for sure say iam a newbie on Linux.
I would rather have just Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.3 only, on the netbook. I have had many differant distro,s to try on USB like Zorin, Peppermint and many others. I just think Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.3 is most like Windows 7 much easier to use, just my opinion.
Thank,s Chuck

We can defiantly help you on getting that installed. This is the same system that you have been running the Mint from the USB and everything if working as it should?

If there is any data on that system you want to keep like photos, documents and such back those up first.
