Hi i my y530 has an sdd in it with 500 gb but i would like to upgrade to a little more storage. There is one slot avalibe were i can put in a HDD but i dont know what kind of hdd is compatible with my system...
Also what kind of price range is there for 1tb compared with 500gb hdd?
Thanks in advance

Have looked at the tear down for the system and if you have a solid state drive where are you planning in putting the additional Drive.

There is a place for an M.2 drive

You will also need to make sure that there is a connection for the HDD and cage. Usually 2.5 inch SATA drivers will work in laptops.
