I need help with my lenovo ideapad y550. So I decided to clean my computer because it's old and there is a lot of dust. Everything was working fine. I disassembled it and I cleaned the fan and applied new thermal paste to the cpu and gpu. After I put everything back together and I turned it on. By the way it runs windows 7. I turned it on and showed the Lenovo logo and everything was fine until it go to the part which says "starting windows". While it said that it would just shut down. I rebooted and same thing happened. I can't get passes the windows part. So I try fixing it. I rebooted presses f8,and went to system repair. I did memory test and later rebooted and didn't shut down. I don't know what is happening. My guess is that my gpu needs thermal pad instead of thermal paste because before I applied thermal paste to gpu and gpu, there was paste on cpu and pad on gpu. Or its because it needs heat to be able to run. Please help. Thanks.
