Hi, yes, tried all the ports? I’m wondering if restore to an earlier date might work?

Yes did a hardware test etc and no problem?

Power down your pc and unplug keyboard. Restart pc and then plug keyboard back in. See if that helps.

Thanks, I'll try that but my experience in the past is that hardware has to be recognised on bootup and adding later doesn't work?

All hardwired.

Mouse is also USB cable and it never gives the same error?

Any other USB connected devices that may be drawing too much power?
Test by only having the keyboard attached, disconnect all other USB peripherals.

Mouse never gives an error, just did the scan with just keyboard and monitor connected and all pass.

Now try adding one USB device at a time and see when the problem happens.
