Solved Keyboard Not Working!

I recently came across an issue with my laptop, apart from F10-F12, none of my keys are working.

Capture11.PNG

This is what I see.

Both keyboards have "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

While the mouse has...

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

I have tried tons of fixes but none have worked, any help?

I am using a Dell Inspiron 7000

To avoid us suggesting steps already tried can you let us know what has been done but not worked.

Can you also post a link to your exact model of computer so that we can do some research.

Well so far I've tried
  • Uninstalling the keyboards and the mouse
  • Scanning for updates (yielded nothing)
  • Deleting the upper and lower files
  • Searching for anything in my keyboard
This is where I bought it from if that helps.

Thank you by the way.

Are you able to use a USB type keyboard without issue.

Did this problem happen after installing any Windows update/s.

You are welcome btw :)

I'm afraid I don't have any on hand so I wouldn't know.

Yes, I was using it for some Gaming when my Laptop's battery ran out, then when I tried to log in it did there was an update. I updated and then it started not working.

See if you can restore the computer to a time and date that is before the update installed, see info here

I would see if you can borrow a USB type keyboard if the above does not work.
