Internal Fan not Working.

that unit is getting a bit long in the tooth now.

you will need to source a new fan if after doing all the dumb things haven't worked; check blades are stuck, get bearing not collapse, check fan cable connected.

or a quick fix would be to put the laptop on one of those cooling pads that has a fan right under your laptop's air intake vent.
