Installed a new GPU and my PC is still not performing well

Two issues that I can see from the info provided, the PSU is not appropriate for a gaming type computer and you have java on the computer.

Corsair recommend that their CX range of PSU are only used for entry level desktops as are used in offices or schools etc, these type of computer will typically only have onboard graphics or at best an entry level GPU that does not require any supplemental power dongle from the PSU.

Java, unless absolutely required you should not have java on your computer as it is one of the most exploited applications there is, if it really must be used there are a couple of things that are suggested by security experts, always have the latest version and disable Java when it is not in use.

Minecraft has abandoned the need to use Java down to the aforementioned reasons.

We need some info about your computer;

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

We will double check the temps and voltages in due course but fwiw Speccy does not always report an accurate CPU temp, the MBs own monitoring software sometimes conflicts.

While we look at the rest of the Speccy report;

Power Profile
Active power scheme: High performance

I suggest is that you change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, High Performance is a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues and the setting should only be used for gaming type notebooks that have a discrete GPU that needs the extra power.

Edit to add, Windows is shown to be a recent install, were the drivers for the MB also installed and starting with the chipset drivers first.

Get back to us after you have read the above and we will go from there, this includes possibly replacing the PSU.

But after reinstalling Windows did you also reinstall the drivers for the MB and starting with the chipset drivers first, Windows 10 uses a lot of its own generic drivers for modern hardware but this does not include chipset drivers, only the maker of the MB can provide these and they need to be installed first so as to avoid potential conflicts.

Your RAM is being hogged and that is responsible for the slow performance.

Uninstall Java, restart the computer, rerun Speccy and then post the updated url for us.

Once we have the updated Speccy url we will provide the steps for checking the temps and voltages and then look at your PSU options.

Not seeing any chipset driver having been installed, do you have a link to what you installed.

Not sure what you mean by this, can you explain what you mean by "the main driver" and from where the download was from.

Speccy is still showing the high memory use and the bad voltages, the voltages being off could be what is affecting the memory use.

Can I ask why you have installed Norton AV.

it is important when troubleshooting that you do not do anything that has not been suggested by the person that is trying to help you, couple of reasons for this, it can undo any progress that has been made, you can make things worse and worse case scenario you can end up with a computer that will not boot.

Norton is a resource hog that will slow down your computer and installing it was totally unnecessary as Windows Defender and Firewall are more than adequate for folk that don`t download torrents or other illegal downloads.

No need to purchase anything atm and just so that you are aware RAM and an SSD are two totally different things, RAM stores data on a temporary basis and once you power down the computer the data in the RAM is gone, the data on an SSD is there for good or until it gets overwritten by new data such as a clean install of Windows etc.

Sorry, should have been a bit clearer, you only needed to download and install the chipset driver for the time being, Norton not being a driver should not even be on the download list tbh.

No you should not reapply thermal paste and for the reason that was explained in my reply #4;

Before we check the voltages we will take a look at the CPU and RAM usage, can I suggest that you make Chrome your default browser, this should help make connecting to the internet quicker for you, once you have done this, open Task Manager to full screen, give it a moment or two for things to settle down, grab a screenshot of Task Manager and upload it for us.

Task Manager looks a lot better but I did notice the presence of Norton, see attachment below;

Nowhere was it mentioned to run Minecraft + your screenshot shows that you have Java installed again so things are back to square one
