Welcome to PCHF Jeimee,

Couple of things for you to do but can you first of all do the following so we have something to getting on with.

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

650w gigabyte 80+ bronze
Not an appropriate PSU to be using I`m afraid, high end builds should always be powered by a quality brand Gold efficiency rated PSU.

ive been trying to fix it because i only just got this psu, but i cant seem to do it, the recommended psu for a vega 56 is 550w so i really dont know if the psu is a fault. im really confused and agitated, sorry for the delayed response

What about the dmp files, we can`t help if you do not provide the requested information.

Regarding the PSU, as mentioned above, for high end builds you need an appropriate high end Gold efficiency rated PSU, you do not have such a PSU, you do not mention which model it is that you have so we can`t check the specifics but take a look at the attachment below for how good (or not) Gigabyte PSUs are, there is some info here which if you also check that you will see with the exception of one budget PSU all of the suggested PSUs are Gold efficiency rated and have either a ten or twelve year warranty, the longer the warranty the better the quality of the PSU must be.

makes sense, ive been using it today and no bluescreen for about 12hrs underload so ill see if its fixed and if its ok , if the bluescreen happens i can come back to you for help, for the dmp files when i try to put them into a zip folder it says file not found or no read permissions even when im running it as an administrator. thanks for you help btw

Well that`s odd behaviour as being under load is normally what forces the issue.

For the crash dmps, are you following the exact steps as below;

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

If the dmps are more than a couple of days old I wouldn't worry about uploading them tbh as we can only safely work with current logs, Windows updates among other things can change things that make older dmps unreliable.

You are welcome :)

hello again, i upgraded to a seasonic 650w gold psu which was 90 pounds and im still getting the blue screen error, i literally have no idea how to fix this

That is a great PSU and you should consider the price that you paid well worth it as the PSU is what is protecting your other more expensive hardware and for the next ten years, unlike the below par Gigabyte that you had which was only covered for three.

Can I ask what you mean by "i scanned the dmp files"

Nowhere in this thread has it been suggested that anything be scanned and it wouldn`t be as only the malware experts scan things and specifically only over on the malware removal forums.

For the crash dmps, are you following the exact steps as below;

1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.

If you are following the steps exactly as post above let us know, the error message that you are getting normally means one of three things, the data is corrupt, the data has failed when trying to be copied to an external device such as an external HDD or USB thumbdrive or that the data package is to large to copy, the latter is why we ask for the data to be compressed before uploading.

Tip
If using a computer and not a mobile phone, please avoid adding multiple posts while waiting for us to reply to your last, edit your last post to include anything that you wish to add, this will ensure nothing gets overlooked which can sometimes happen if a thread has more than one page, it avoids filling up folks inbox and last but not least it amounts to bumping your thread which puts folk to the bottom of any reply list.
