Hello, recently I've noticed my computer being just really sluggish so I opened task manager to see if anything looked suspicious and I noticed 'ICEsoundService64.exe' running in my processes. Never seen this before did some Google searches seems like a legitimate ASUS Audio driver I checked it's digital signature says it's been on my PC for awhile but I don't trust any of it whatsoever. I looked up ways to uninstall it but there is no Uninstaller for it it's in my sys32 folder so I don't feel comfortable messing with anything there. Ran virus scans on it checked VirusTotal came back cleaned. Here's the weird part however, I booted in safe mode ran Malwarebytes found nothing, rebooted back into windows and my computer runs fine. Looked in task manager and 'ICEsoundService' isn't running I feel like it is infected but I have no idea how to safely remove it from my computer.

I appreciate any feedback, thanks for reading.

lets try this

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

Include the make and model of the Power Supply Unit if this is a Desktop.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

For my PSU I couldn't find the exact make or model (it's a pre-built pc) I looked up my PC model but no mention of what the PSU is, and I'm in no way a technician so I don't feel comfortable taking apart things on my PC to see what model the PSU is.

Thing is I don't use a ASUS laptop I'm using a CyberPower PC
Ah - that's a little gem to know off the bat! :)
Speccy shows you are have a ASROCK motherboard, so perhaps they use ASUS drivers.
ICEsound is showing up as a stopped Service.

if you have run all the scans and still think your PC is not running normally, you could get the driver from the ASUS website, or even from the ASROCK one or still visit a malware forum for that warm fuzzy feeling as they will get you to run a couple more scans to double check your system.

After I did my speccy report I ran a full system scan after buying Norton and it seems to have isolated and removed a 'heuristic virus' I've seen that some viruses can obfuscate themselves as legitimate software so I'm curious if that was the case. Anyways, my PC is running perfectly fine I appreciate the quick responses and thanks for your advice and help. :)

(Will be taking your advice and probably go to bleepingcomputer for a peace of mind.)
