I looked into upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10 on my custom built pc.
The pc health check app from Microsoft told me to enable TPM and safe boot.
So I enabled TPM and saved and exited. Then check the pc health app again and it worked saying I only need to enable safe boot. So I went back into BIOS and tried to enable safe boot but said I cant because I was in setup mode and needed to be in user mode.
After watching a YouTube video stating that I needed to install the default platform keys and enabling safe boot in UEFI not CSM.
The problem is doing so wouldnt boot Windows as my Windows os is installed on an m.2 drive which is not UEFI.
so I went back into BIOS again and changed back to CSM and my pc went into Windows repair mode.
So back into BIOS I go and tried looking for my m.2 in the boot order.. but its not there? Its disappeared?
After going through Windows repair I looked into the system image recovery to use the file explorer just to see if any of my files went missing but no there still there?
Why isn't it showing up in BIOS? What have I done?
