I don't know what causes my games to run so slow.

Ever since I got myself a PC , I started running into problems with games. Sometimes , my CPU is struggling with a game , and sometimes my GPU does. I have a GTX 1050Ti and an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 which is overclocked to 4GHz. Today , I've been playing some Call of Duty Modern Warfare Warzone. I hopped in , and I saw that I was getting 50-60FPS. I didn't know what was causing it. Now , my PC doesn't meet the system requirements for the game , but. I have a powerful GPU to run the game and I have 8GB of RAM. My CPU is the only component that isn't fit to run the game. But , when I open up the game. I use the in-game Performance Metrics , which shows how much of the GPU and CPU is being used. But , I see that it takes 19 milisecond for my GPU to render , and my CPU only 10 miliseconds. I didn't understand. I started overclocking my GPU , but , it brang nothing. Just a boost of 2 FPS. So , then I quit COD and I went over to DOOM Eternal. Then , I see the same. I see that my GPU is struggling and my CPU is good. But , when I watch videos , people say that it's the CPU's problem because of crappy performance. They have their CPU overclocked to 3.8 . Which is really close to my overclock. I don't understand. Is my GPU not keeping up , or is my CPU which is overclocked to 4GHz not able to run these games?

sorry guys, I'll tag out, gaming and what it takes to get that to work consistently is black magic to me.

basically, I think you said the problem yourself - your CPU doesn't meet the game specs.
they have those minimum specs for a reason, and usually allow for a bit of fudge factor so if you don't even meet that level then that would be where I'd be starting my addressing of the problem.

Hi,

Please provide us with your full system specs. Also I would set all your components back to stock settings and see if you notice any difference in the games that you play.

Have you installed the latest drivers for your Nvidia video card?

Are you using Windows 10 version 1909?
Well , my specs are the following : AMD Ryzen 3 1200 , GTX 1050Ti , 8GB of Random Access Memory , B450M PRO-VDH PLUS. And Yes , I did try setting my CPU to stock overclockwise. It just runs 10x slower as it usually does. I have no idea what this means. I check if my CPU ran out of thermal paste , it was fine. The fans were clean. What could this mean?
