Hey guys was hoping someone can finally help with this issue I've been having ,, have a all in one hp pc with windows 7 and I encountered a problem about 2 weeks ago, when I press the power bottom to obviously cut on my pc I guess I get an error code 2 blue lights semi long flashes and on the third time the light stays on for about a sec more then cuts off and most of the time I will have to unplug the power and start the whole process again it was hit or miss for awhile but if I did the above steps enough it would eventually boot until now seems like a short or something took the machine apart and checked the wires even secured them more with tape and if I do get it to boot up to windowsit will randomly cut off not shut down just cut off like I'm pulling the power cord out of the back any help would be appreciated

when you had the back cover off, did you notice and dust build-up?
also, take out the memory chips, wipe their contacts and the slot they go into with a soft bristle brush and reseat the chips.
do the same with the graphics card if there is one, but typically AIO's don't.

long shot, but what about checking the power cord into the AIO and the other end going into your wall socket or power board.
and there's probably a transformer along that power cord as well, check it's connections and its heat the next time the PC shuts off.
