As often, what I'm asking is probably simple and obvious, just not to me. When I open a connected disk (C or usb connected),I get a single display of the files and folders on that disk. . Something happened and now when I open them I get only about the right 2/3 of the screen with the folders and files. The left side of the screen shows all connected disks, favorites folder , Libraries etc. I can't find what got changed so that I can get it back to the single display view of just the folders and files on this disk and not all of those things suddenly being displayed on the left. Can someone tell me what I must have accidentally done that changed what's displayed and how I get it back to how it was? I'm running on windows 7.

I'm attaching screenshots to show what I mean - how the display had been and now the changed display

I just saw something about navigation pane so I looked in folder options and both navigation boxes are un-checked in "general" - so that's not the problem.

My friend found the answer - the organize drop-down. Please close this - I'm embarrassed to have made such a big deal out of something so simple:oops:
