Finally some sense,

the first time you write to a disc, select burn data, new disc.
For subsequent burns select burn data, update disc.

Better still, read the help file

Yes. What I meant was ifI wanted to play the disc I could only play a data disc on computers, not DVD players as well?

I'm sorry if I'm coming across as confusing, my asutismn makes me often mis understood which is hard for me to get across what I mean.

Weather it be music, movies, or whatever, to play anything on most home or automotive cd/dvd players the disc will have to be finalised. Once finalised no more information can be added to the disc. Please read the help file.

Do you consider this thread solved now?

good luck, hope you get it sorted.
it's one of those times when pure, blunt, hands-on, get your hands dirty, sort of attitude is required.
yep - you'll burn a few duds, yep - some won't play in the desired device, all you can do is try again and chalk it up to experience.

That’s one bit of software I haven’t needed in maybe 10 years. Last time I wanted to do that I used Movie Maker by Microsoft, back in the XP days.
Sorry, can’t help you there.

Ashampoo burning studio will make slideshows, please read the help file, and try it. You may find it easier than asking questions.
