Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? I’m not the most computer savvy person, but I know some basics. I had this message pop up during start up, then I get stuck in the windows recovery menu. Which I can’t use any of the recovery options. I’m thinking it might be a cord, but I wanted to get a second opinion before have someone take a look at it.

be it lose cable or dead hard drive, your PC cannot detect a bootable drive.
open the side cover and check for obvious lose cables.
when is the last time you backed up?
also make sure you have no CD or USB stick connected just in case it's trying to boot from those.

have you gone into the BIOS (hitting Del or F10 or Esc or whatever it is for your PC) and seeing if yuour drives are detected there?
