@Bruce

Has this ever worked?
How long ago?
What was changed prior to it no longer working (if it did)?

Did you ever change you output for the sound and or check to make sure that it is on the correct one?
What is the make and model of the computer?

Doesn't work I think the problem is with the pc or with the HDMI cable (Reminding that my monitor got speakers)
Have you tried a different cable?
Is HDMI the only way you can connect to the monitor?

I don't use a audio software
Could be the issue you need may need to install the actual audio software for the sound card in the system?

My monitor and graphic card can use DisplayPort I think I will just buy DisplayPort Cable and it will fix the problem

The first one doesn't work and the second one i haven't tried because I can't find the drivers and I don't think that reinstalling the drivers will work

The driver is located on Control panel > hardware and sound > sound

i am not trying to butt in, but i believe you should do as advised from the support team so they can help you accordingly
