Solved help with ram

Hello snowkatie,

is dr333 the same as ddr3.?
Without having the exact info it is hard to say but if you can post the motherboard brand and model name or number we can do some research, there is one possible explanation though.

Many years back DDR 333MHz RAM was common with the 333MHz being the speed, this was then phased out and replaced by DDR2 which was then replaced by DDR3 and finally DDR3 becoming less the norm now as new hardware uses the DDR4 standard.

If the notch in the RAM that you have does not line up with that of the one on the memory slots then the RAM is the wrong type.
