Help with getting signal getting detected on monitors

Not open for further replies.
Specs:
i9-10850k
Gigabyte 3070ti
Corsair 850w Gold PSU
Corsair vengeance 8gb ddr4 (2 sticks)
Asus Prime Z490 Mobo

Everything was working until today when I tried booting up my pc, but no signal on the monitors. I’ve cleaned my ram sticks, reseated them, done the same with my GPU, took my cmos battery out for 10 minutes and put it back in, reapplied thermal paste on cpu, verified all Q-LED lights on motherboard, but still no signal on monitor.

Yes I have tried with the display card, reseating it, and without it entirely (connected display port to motherboard without gpu). Still says no signal detected.
All of my components are running; fan headers, gpu fans, cpu cooler, rgb is running on ram and gpu, power in monitor. Just no signal detected.

You have tried both monitors individually onboard and display card?

Plugged into mains or surge protector/suppressor?

Tested monitors on another system (which they will probably work fine just to rule them out)?

Reassembled the entire system outside of the care on a thick sheet of cardboard?

Tried different display card port on the Motherboard?

I have tried each monitor individually on the display card. Tried with both display port and hdmi cables. Tried connecting to motherboard itself with both cables, no signal. My power cords are already plugged into grounded surge protectors. Monitors work fine on other system. I guess I will try to take apart the entire system and rebuild without the case to narrow the problem down.

Assemble it with the minimal part needed to run the system.
I mean what could have happened? I’ve been using this computer almost everyday and it isn’t even a year old. Literally everything was working like normal the night before. It happened only once before but all it took was reseating the ram. Kind of interesting.

Does anything come up on the screen?

When you are booting the system do you hear any beeps is the power light flashing changing color? Pattern if any?

Can you boot from the Windows media to run the repair form there?

Are the RAM in the correct slots?

Is anything over clocked?

@phillpower2 second set of eyes please

Nothing pops up on the screen besides “No signal detected!” and “No cable detected!” when I remove the cables from the GPU. When booting the system, there are no beeps. The power light remains a constant white light, like it does when it is normally operating. I cannot reach any sort of display when booting but everything seems to be running. I’ve tried all ram slot configurations with both sticks, tried every slot with 1 stick, and tried without any sticks. Still nothing. Nothing is overclocked and even if it was, I completely reset the CMOS.

Not a good sign I`m afraid :(

You getting a No Signal message on the monitors confirms that your screens are ok and that the problem is with the source of the video, initially that would have been the GPU but with that removed it comes down to the CPU as that is what provides the onboard video, a bad CPU would result in the same No Signal message as a bad GPU would but unlike an add on GPU the CPU uses the system memory for support so I suggest that you do some checks there.

Try one stick of RAM at a time in the second slot away from the CPU (Slot A2) and get yourself a BIOS error speaker like the one in the attachment below;
