Help recovering Google Chrome Internet History

Status
Not open for further replies.
Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone can offer me any help please? I'm trying to restore my deleted internet history on Google Chrome from the last 3 days. I'm not logged into a Google account and I've deleted my Cookies also.

I've tried running Recuva software and going through an online tutorial, but haven't had any joy with it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can recover my history to it's original format? Or if this is even possible?

Thanks for your time.

{Main Drive}\Users\{Account name}\AppData\Local\
Right-click Google folder, Properties.
Previous Versions tab.
Click on the restore point most relevant to what you want to restore.
Click Restore and then Restore again on the popup.

Edit for privacy and transparency:
Since Restore Points can be used for privacy intrusive purposes, you can also delete them to prevent this.
Control Panel -> Recovery -> Configure System Restore -> Configure -> Delete

Hi lkjk,

Thanks for your reply. I've gone through the steps up until right clicking a Previous Versions tab. I don't seem to have one at the specified location. Here's a screen grab. I've gone through the other tabs on the pop up but can't see anything similar.

Thanks again,
