Hi... I experience a issue with my Laptop (HP ProBook) last night.
Often I take my laptop into my living room and hook it up to my Denon AVR and TV to view photos. This method always works fine.
However, last night I hooked everything up correctly like I've done in the past and my "Audio" did not come through. I use iTunes and it always played in the past. The Video was fine.

My question to you: Is there a setting for HDMI sound to adjust or set in Windows 10 so I can get my music back playing through my home Denon AVR and speakers?

Welcome to PCHF Reesche,

Does the notebooks audio work correctly when not connected to the Denon device, if no, see below, if yes, see the example troubleshooting guide here

As the set up has previously worked a recent update may be the cause, check to see if there were any updates installed previous to you losing the sound.

Thanks for your help here!

The Notebook sound work just fine using internal speaker and when I plug in my external speakers.
Microsoft is always updating my computer....if I want it to or not. I too thought it is happening because of a software driver update.
I tried clicking on your YES link and it didn't work.

HDMI port or cable problem then, have you checked the Device Manager for any yellow! or a red X against the HDMI device/s, the HP link works fine for me but just in case click here

You are welcome btw :)
