Hello. I have a very small ( in storage room) disk that contains all of my windows files. This disk is always red(it always have problems with how little storage room it has). Is there a way to move these files to another disk without destroying it?

You should not be trying to move those files unless you are cloning the hard drive. Messing with operating system files will render your machine useless.

Do you have another drive to attach to your machine for storage?

Hi Nikolas
Is this a laptop or a desktop.
I think what you need to do is clone your current hard drive to the new 1TB HDD(orsdd)
You need a program like Macrium Reflect Free Click on me
To do this on a desktop you need to add the new 1TB as a 2nd drive - We can teach you how if you do not know how to do this.

If you have a laptop then you will need a caddy to hold the 1TB drive. After it is cloned you then swap drives.

If this is a laptop please post the make and model number.

When you click on the link above it has a video showing how to clone the drive. Macrium Reflect is FREE
Click on me for Macrium Reflect
