Hello all,

Having some trouble finding the correct hard drive enclosures for and old 3.5 WD400 enhanced IDE Hard drive close to fifteen years old, ones I've seen pins don't match up.

Laptop hard drive Seagate Momentus 5400.2 120GB SERIAL AT DISC DRIVE

Been to local pc world and all current types there and online cannot find ones that fits pins for the above.

See attached photos.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards

Gary

those 40-pin IDE connector external enclosures are very hard to come by.
my pc parts supplier stopped stocking them about 6 years ago.
you may have to get a used one off ebay for example.

Local PC repair store have an old 40 pin connector for the desktop hard drive which they were able to retrieve all data from it

Thanks to Bruce for the advice re removing the bracket to reveal the hard drive pins from the 2.5 so now sorted and got media.

Thanks for help
