Solved Hard Disk Drive Failure Please Help

Not open for further replies.
The other day I realised my pc was no longer sending an output to my monitors or tv.
I took out my gpu and ram and placed them back in. I also ensured all the cables were plugged in (though I cant say for sure if they are plugged into the correct places) I switched on my pc and received the message
Hard-disk drive failure
No boot device available
SATA0 : Not Installed
SATA1 : Not Installed
SATA3: Not Installed
Strike the F1 key to retry boot, F2 to run the setup Utility

My understanding of computers is pretty basic. While i assume this has something to do with my hard drive, is it possible to pin point the issue to something small or do I need to buy a new harddrive altogether. Please Help I need the PC to do class

G'day HelpMeNow and welcome to the forums.

firstly make sure there are no CD's or USB sticks in the PC, in case it's set up to boot from those before the hard drive.
and double check there is a cable going from the drive to the power supply and another from the drive to the motherboard.
reboot the PC.

if you still get that message it looks like your hard drive has failed.
what is the age of the PC?
what are the specs: motherboard make/model, graphics card, power supply, memory, hard drive.

attach a picture of the insides of the case and we should be able to verify the cable placements for you.

I ensured the drive had access to the motherboard which removed the entirety of the problem. However now the windows screen will load before suddenly the signal will be cut off. The pc doesn't turn off as far as I can tell. On one try it reached my lock screen but the screen was all glitchy and rainbow like. I attached some pictures of my pc interior. I got this pc 6 months ago. It has a core i5 cpu, nvidia gpu, 1tb Seagate singular hard drive, Dell power supply. The motherboard also appears to be dell but I cant figure out how to identify the exact type

the 'rainbow' effect and now no signal indicates a graphics card issue.
remove the card and run the monitor from the motherboard port.
For now the issue seems to resolved thanks to your help. It gave an output from the motherboard and upon adding the GPU back it functioned as it previously did. It's weird because I removed it and put it back before but nothing changed. But for now everything has been holding up for a day or so. Thanks for your help :D
