Most my apps arent working and have this weird darkened icon, along with loading(?) bars under their icons in the app list in the start menu, microsoft store isnt working either. Troubleshooting says that i have "Hanging" apps (while writing this i did it again and now it says i dont have them anymore even tho the issue is still there???) I had to reinstall windows twice now and nothing helped. The issue started cuz for whatever stupid reason i had to change the premissions for my drive, which ****ed up my taskbar and start menu(left clicking on start, seach or the ones on the right side of the taskbar did nothing, windows button on my keyboard didnt work either) First time i reinstalled windows but chose to keep some of my files, then none of my default windows apps worked (store, calc, gallery etc.) I assumed that was because i ****ed up something on my drive and keeping those files kept whatever is causing this error too, so i reinstalled windows fresh and its still here. I did all the fixes i saw on yt, google like scanning my disc, restarting or reinstalling the apps that didnt work, put some code in powershell that started with Get-AppXPackage dont remember the rest
AND NONE OF THAT WORKED
idk what im doing wrong cuz idk much about how this bs works
just pls help me im too tired to actually think about what could be causing this

Some screenshots
Had to use paint to crop them cuz whenever i tried to open the pictures i get this error:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

this happens with some of my other apps too
To clarify some of my apps open a blank window and then close like 2 seconds later, while others give this error (tho sometimes if i try to start the apps that gives me an error many times it eventually opens for some reason) like i said i dont know much about this but clearly i ****ed up my drives somehow. Idk why the issue is still here tho i though resetting it would get rid of it

the error i was talking about and the app still somehow opening after i spam open it:

how the start menu looks (earlier pretty much all my apps here looked like how nvidia control panel does right now):

Can you uninstall the app or stop the download then uninstall? If so do this then try installing again.
Another suggestion is to run Sfc & dism:
Right click on start & choose powershell/terminal with admin & type/copy & paste these cmds one at a time then click Enter:
SFC /SCANNOW
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Sorry for taking so long to respond
sfc scan gave me this output: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
first DISM command gave this: The operation completed successfully. nothing else so idk if it did anything
second one: The restore operation completed successfully. The operation completed successfully.
afterwards i restarted my pc and nothing changed

Next step is an in-place repair.
Download the media creation tool, run it & choose upgrade/install Windows, follow the prompts & ensure keep apps & files is automatically selected & continue with the installation.
