I have a 2080ti and at idle it's running at high 40c. I have a z390 pro, i9, vengence pro rgb, Corsiar H150i Elite, and 6 fans. I know the i9 runs hot but I don't know if it would cause the GPU to run hot like this.

The gpu goes between 45c and 52c and the cpu sits around 28c and 32c.

Yeppoon, QLD, Australia.
those temps are fine, in fact, I'd go as far as saying normal even.
hell, in summer here, 45 is the ambient room temp. :)

I wouldn't be concerned unless they hit, and stay, above 70.
and I'd be worried if they ever got above 80.

if you want to try and see if you could bring them down, make sure the air vent and fan blades are clear of any dust build-up.
you could try also changing the thermal paste under the heat sink of the CPU - but really, if you had paste issues, its temp would be a lot higher.

I believe I found the problem it seems to be GPU Tweak. There is no fan curve on any of the profiles it's just flat, and it wouldn't let me adjust anything. I switched to MSI afterburner and I sit at 38c at idle now.
