Google Chrome downloading images - how can I stop it automatically opening the image?

Hi I have a query when downloading an image using google chrome. Usually the image doesn't open, and a toolbar at the bottom will allow me to open the image if I so wish to do so. I usually click the toolbar at the bottom and use it to find the image location, so I can then rename the image in my documents. Annoyingly, on the toolbar theres a second option beneath this along the lines of "always open files of this type". I have accidentally clicked this, so now every time I download an image, it opens the image. I cannot find a way to undo this command. Any ideas?

Lets see of this helps at all.

Open Chrome
In the Address Bar type
chrome://settings/
Press Enter
Scroll towards the bottom of the page and click the link Advanced
Scroll further down till you find Downloads
Click on the Clear button

Let us know if this clears it up for you.

@dodohelp do you still require assistance with this?

And have you tried right clicking the image and selecting "Save Image As" Doing that will allow you to save the image anywhere you like and rename it anything you choose all at the same time.
