Gaming Computer

Hello
Recently my used computer was taken out by lightning getting into our house. There was no info on what was in this computer other than it was Win 10 based. I used it for two bicycling games Zwift and Big Ring VR both online via WiFi. Where I live the internet connection really sucks at a max 6 Mbps but both games worked OK in spite of the slow speed. What are the minimum requirements for a new computer? I have it connected to a TV via HDMI cable.
Thanks,
ruko

g'day and welcome to the forums. :)

there is no one-size-fits-all answer to your question, as it depends heavily on subjective matters, like budget, usage, and brand names.

personally, if I was building a decent, gaming rig, these would be my minimum specs;
  • CPU - Intel Core i7
  • PSU - anything with a 10 year warranty, at least 800watts
  • RAM - 2 x 8GB
  • Storage - m.2 NVMe 1TB for Windows and Games, and 2TB HDD for data
  • Motherboard - something with enough PCIe, and USB ports, front ports, USB-C options, think about future needs
  • Case - enough ventilation, room for water cooling, space for full size ATX boards if ever needed
  • GPU - whatever current (and future) game requirements need, and budget allows
  • extras - more case fans, CPU and/or GPU cooling radiators
