Games keep crashing randomly

Hello, I built my first pc and every game a played on it ran great for what i had in the build, a recently started upgrading the build and thats when the crashes started. Games that keep crashing include, spiderman, cyberpunk, nfs unbound, mw2 2022, and other games of similar graphic intensity. The crashes happen randomly, could be 10mins into a game or an hour or two into a game. Spiderman crashes at the first cutscene everytime. I tried installing a new power supply from an 850w to a 1000w supply, ive updated and reinstalled drivers many times, updated my ram speed in the bios to 3200mhz where they should be, and i transfered all data to a new 2tb m.2 ssd. However the crashes started when i installed the gpu and everything else i did listed previously were things i thought were the problem but also stuff that i wanted to do anyway so ya.

CPU - Ryzen 5 5600x
GPU- Nvidia Geoforce RTX 3070ti
64gb ram

What power supply do you have?

Did you start with a fresh installation of your operating system and drivers when you installed your new components? Drivers need to be installed in this order: Chipset, Storage Controllers, Graphics drivers, and any other optional drivers before allowing Windows to connect to the internet and automatically install drivers.

Is the system stable enough that you can load in and use the computer when not gaming?

Power supply is a corsiar HX1000i
I dont think so, i didnt know that had to be done or how to do so
yes when using the computer normaly like for netflix or basic stuff like that no issues at all, only when gaming.

Let's get some more information:

Download and run the free version of speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.


To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
