I have a gaming PC that I built about 5-6 years ago with an I7 Intel CPU, 1080TI Video card, 32GB of RAM. My computer started crashing while playing COD Vanguard and the only way I could play it was in safe mode. I tried all of the online solutions from scan and repair to uninstall and reinstall. After a month of game crashes I decided to buy COD MW2 thinking maybe that old game was corrupted. The new game will boot up and then crash before getting into a match. I ran FurMark ROG and had a score of 7699 2560X1440. I am not sure if this is a video card problem or something else. Thanks in advance

What is the brand and model name or number of the PSU.

A very good PSU and still under warranty so would only suggest that you make sure that none of the modular/ GPU PCI-E cables have become loose.
Couple of questions, some info and some tips for helping with system performance etc.
Is the problem only with the two games that you mention.
What actually happens as in does the PC turn off completely, black screen or close to the desktop etc.
What partition are you saving drivers to.
Software such as Windows can crash and when it does crash you get a BSOD and when enabled a crash dmp is generated, programs or games when they crash can on occasion close to the desktop but the computer will still be 100% functional.
Hardware failure such as a weak power supply and/or overheating are not software related and when a computer for example suddenly turns off, freezes or the screen goes black etc the behaviour should be described as the "computer shut down unexpectedly" or froze etc and not as having crashed as the latter implies a software issue as opposed to an obvious hardware issue when described properly.
Having the correct info means that helpers will not be looking for a software issue when the problem is clearly hardware related.
You should get rid of this snake oil, as to why explained below;
Once Windows has been installed, you install the necessary drivers for the MB and other hardware and then leave well alone, drivers should not be allowed to auto update and you should never update any driver/s unless the new drivers are intended to resolve a specific issue that you are having, installing new drivers unnecessarily can actually cause you the very issues that any new drivers are intended to resolve and uninstalling the new drivers may not resolve the problem/s that installing the new drivers has caused.
Depending on priority it can take many months before the driver provider releases any fix and depending on the age of the hardware or software concerned they sometimes do not even bother or may have already announced an end of support.
That is the wrong RAM for your CPU, Intel state here up to 2400MHz and if you were to enable XMP the RAM will get auto OCd past what the CPU can handle and the PC fall over, the RAM running slower than what it can will bottleneck the CPU and GPU and cause high memory usage as is highlighted above.
Go into the BIOS, disable XMP and then manually set the RAM to run at 2400MHz, the voltage to 1.35V,save the new settings then exit the BIOS.

There must be a way of manually setting the RAM voltage, if the PC runs stable with the present settings all well and good but any problems you will have to find the manual setting.

The only way I can play the games is in Safe Mode and a Display Resolution of 1280X720. I did order a new video card RTX-3060.
A new video card will change nothing + the both programs own software is telling you that you need to contact Activision.
