Hope this is in correct section as appreciate its not a PC problem, other than the files being questioned were loaded onto SD card from my PC.

The first SD card I made up using the PC windows media player loaded and played fine on my Android media unit. The card is in mp3 sound format and loads correctly in file section and plays fine when music app selected.
I recently made up another SD card all legal music, one tune purchased from ITunes "Proud Mary" Tina Turner plays fine on my android media unit and is shown mounted correctly in file index. It also plays in mp3 sound format.
I also Included on the same SD card another 62 various artists which also appear correctly mounted in file index, and are also in mp3 sound format, however the unit will not play them stating unable to play this file, as wrong file or audio format. They appear listed in the menu and are selectable But do not play!

As other cards plus the Tina Turner file on new SD card plays I am stumped as to why the other files on this same card will not play and would appreciate some help.

All files were downloaded and snyc from my windows media player?

What do I need to do to ensure remainder of files on SD card will play?

This is a long shot but is there a chance that the files that won’t play have a special character in their file/folder path name?
I had something similar a while back, songs would play in the pc but not in the car, traced it to names that had & or ! I their title.

The strange thing is that the actual CD plays in the car without a hitch, but the moment I transfer them to SD card only ONE track will play, all other tracks state audio file not supported???
What would I be looking for when you say names or title could be the fault?

I can mark this one up "as solved", turned out to be the "bitrate", all tracks being loaded had, a high bitrate, I took a chance and lowered it significantly to 128 and it then all worked like a charm thanks for replies and the friendly PC help as always.
