Solved Free Anti-Theft for Laptops Anywhere?

All anyone has to do is grab your laptop, boot up a live linux distro and remove any security software you have.
So to echo the above comment, anti-theft software only takes up space and doesn't offer protection.

Any software anti-theft can be erased and rendered useless. You'd be much better off using hardware anti-theft tools

So any Anti-Theft like Norton, ESet, Avast and any other Anti-Theft from these providers> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/18900/consumer-antivirus-software-providers-for-windows can be removed by the robber & would endup being useless?
