Hi all, I have just overclocked fornthe first time using the Asus app. I have attached screenshots also.

System is:
I5 4690k
Asus z97 pro gamer ma
850w gold power supply
Gtx 1070 gpu
16gb corsair vengeance 1600 ram
Cool master cpu cooler- single fan
3 case fans

I used cinibench before the OC and scored 1082. Highest temp on benchmark was mid 70s
Real temp idle temp average of 34°

Oc got me to 4500hz
Cinibench score of 1654 with temps hitting mod 80s.
Idle temp on real temp showing average of 37.

Any advice on what I should tweak ie voltage etc.
Are my temps/voltage okay?
Any advice welcome.

Have you considered updating to a system that will run at the speeds you want without running components outside their normal capabilities. Your system is getting on age wise and it's probably time to update anyhow?

You have asked this elsewhere, see if they agree.

Thanks for the reply. That's my goal to upgrade to a new system (when money allows me to do so). For now I was looking to get a bit more performance out of the current hardware before I do upgrade. Just wasn't sure on the result.

I agree what has been stated.

Over Clocking caused more heat and stress ware and tear on the system. Some hardware can and will fail if overclocked. When that happens you will be replacing the nice door stop you have.

I have replaced more parts form people trying to tweak the system to get more performance out of them then they were designed to do.
