First Build - Reboots whilst gaming

Hi guys,

I've just built my first gaming pc (specs below) and it keeps cutting out after playing COD Warzone.

It first started cutting out after 3-4 minutes. I noticed the fan that was supplied with the case, was fitted the wrong way around which was putting hot air back into the case so 've corrected that, tried the game and i got around 10-15 minutes of gameplay this time but it still reboots.

Drivers are all up to date.
  • MS Windows 10 Home 32/64bit
  • 2x8G CorsVengLPX DDR4 3200 Ryz
  • 500GB Ssung 860 EVO 2.5 SSD
  • 650W Corsair VS650 80PLUS PSU
  • Corsair Carbide 275R Black TG
  • MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC
  • Sgate 2TB Barra ST2000DM008
  • MSI RTX 2060 VENTUS XS 6G OC
  • AMD Ryzen5 3600 +WraithStealth
Any ideas please?

Hi,

So the computer reboots itself after playing games for a certain period of time?

This sounds like a power supply issue.

The Corsair power supply that you picked was not very good good quality with it being from a lower quality tier.

Do you have another 650 watt power supply you can test the system with?

I would look at getting this PSU, RMx Series™ RM650x 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply.
