Solved Firefox showing old bookmarks after using sync

Earlier today I was experimenting for the first time with Linux Ubuntu and used Firefox in Linux, since this was the first time I used Firefox in Linux I decided to use the Firefox Sync option to get all of my current bookmarks. So I did that and it ended up showing bookmarks from like 8 months ago, half of them I don't even have bookmarked anymore. So after getting back from work just a couple of minutes ago I logged into Windows 10 on my laptop and opened Firefox and now my bookmarks are the same ones from Firefox in Linux. I do not want these bookmarks they are old, and I had a ton of new ones on my bookmarks bar but now they are gone and have been replaced by these old bookmarks. How can i get my bookmarks back that I had yesterday, and earlier today before I decided to sync Firefox in Linux. I tried finding an answer on the Firefox support page but it's like a labyrinth trying to find a way to post a question on their website. So can someone here help me get my bookmarks back? I have the newest update of Firefox, Firefox Quantum. I was using Linux from a live USB.
