Alright now the issues. I have not had any problems with this computer since building it ~ 6 months ago. The other day I decided to try overclocking my gpu (haven't done research on it) and then decided to turn it off as it seemed to have stopped Battlefield (the issue was resolved immediately after I went to stock setting). Tonight, after a couple of hours being on the computer - watching videos for a bit. I turned it off to go take a shower and when I came back and turned it on there were still no issues. Then after watching some videos I decided to play some games, the instant I turned Runescape on the fans went %100, I obviously thought this wasn't right so I decided to take a look at my motherboard and saw the Red CPU led was on. Shut down the computer, and when turning the computer back on the fans kicked back in %100, BIOS showed the CPU overheating error, and when on bios it was showing temps rising to 80C within seconds. The CORSAIR logo on the AIO was now Red.

Every time the fans go max the AIO sounds like is makes a slight slosh/squeege sound. It also sounds like the fans are varying/pulsing. When I turn RS on the fans speed back up, and when I turn it off the fans still seem to be going at a pretty fast pace. And when I turn the computer off the fans rush to a climax and then drop dead. The Cpu voltage varies between 1.040v and 1.056v on BIOS. Whenever I'm on bios the fans raise and so does the CPU Temp. When I'm just on my desktop no problems occur, no fans, etc. It also explains on bios that AIO pump is n/a for some reason

If full SPECS are needed
Intel i5-7600k
Corsair H100i V2
Asus ROG Z270F
G.Skill TridentZ RGB - 16gb
Gigabyte GTX 1080
Samsung 960 EVO m.2 - 250gb
WD Black 2TB
Phanteks P400s
Corsair CX650m

While the computer is doing practically nothing the temps hang around 60-70c. The CPU clock is jumping up and down, sometimes staying at 800 - sometimes, and often, jumping to 4200. Is my cpu on death row? There also seems to to be a pulsing hum - what I'm assuming is the pump

That pump is a good brand. Very rarely the pump filter will get blocked from picking rubbish during manufacture.
This seems to what's happened, or got an air lock.
If still under warranty send back.
Just bad luck.

A very good possibility..

After getting a new temporary cooler, temps are back to normal! Back to a steady 25c idle :). So I do believe it was the pump. Definitely RMA-ing the Corsair.

Thanks for all the help!
