Ex. Harddrive overwritten lost 2TB data

When i try to boot from the USB i get this:

As you can see in the png the file is on the USb so am i doing something wrong ?

Did you change the boot sequence in the BIOS to USB device first, if yes, did you also disable secure boot as is detailed in the Puppy Linux tutorial.

Did you check out the other tutorial at the link that was provided, if not, see here
 
Other than trying the download instructions from the second link there is nothing else we can do tbh as you have the tools needed where you are and are the only one able to follow the steps as they are shown in the info provided.

Lucid Puppy Live USB Flash Drive Creation tutorial

  1. Download and launch our Universal USB Installer, select Lucid Puppy and follow the onscreen instructions
  2. Once the script has finished, restart your PC and set your BIOS or Boot Menu to boot from the USB device, save your changes and reboot
If all went well, you should be booting from your Lucid Puppy USB. You will be prompted to create a persistent file for saving your session data on shutdown. Just be sure to choose your USB device when prompted.
