Ethernet works fine except for youtube videos.

My ethernet works great for playing games, watching Netflix, and everything other than youtube videos. But, for some reason, whenever I try to load a youtube video it basically will load forever, or start playing for a few seconds then go to 144p, and then stop playing.

But, when I switch to Wi-Fi, the youtube videos load just fine. So, I'm stuck between switching from ethernet to Wi-Fi depending on what I'm doing, and my Wi-Fi is pretty spotty.

Any ideas?

when you flick over to ethernet, do you disable wifi?
if your ethernet adapter is set to auto IP's, try changing it to a static IP within your gateway range.
when was the last time your rebooted the modem?
and checked for firmware updates for it?
