Hi Guys.
I keep getting this error popping up
"P:\ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location"
This is a External HD

Lets clean up all the old drivers related to your USB devices.

  • Remove All usb connected items from the computer, only leave the mouse and keyboard installed.
  • Download drivecleanup.zip to your desktop.
  • CLICK HERE to determine whether you’re running 32-bit or 64-bit for Windows.
  • Once the determination has been made, open either the 32-bit or 64-bit folder.
  • Right Click the .exe on the inside of the folder, and Run as Administrator.
  • A command prompt window will open, telling you what has been removed upon completion.
  • Reboot your machine.
  • Check the issue.

ok not sure what has happened here but when i click the Click Here button i just get a blank page but with Logged - True!!!

And when i download the drivecleanup, this is what it shows
Win32
X64
Remote drive (Text)

When i click into either folder i get a application for remove drive

Where have i gone wrong????

Do not mean to interrupt.

What is the file name that show up in the x64 directory.
When you right click on the file are you selecting Run As Administrator?
Right Click the .exe on the inside of the folder, and Run as Administrator.
Some times windows file manager (explorer) can be set to not show the file extensions.
So as i thought its a 64 bit - but when i click into the X64 folder the only thing thats there is a remove drive application which isnt a .exe file
You also have to be logged in as an Administrator User.

I seem to get 2 get 2 messages 1, error code 0X800703EE & 2, files is missing or has been altered (which is ot right as when I click onto the file I can see it

Any ideas please

FROM what drive?
TO what drive?
types of drive: internal, external, USB, NAS, etc?
have you tried a simple reboot of the PC?

First run a check disk on the drive in question,

Run chkdsk /f /r from elevated command prompt.

Scan the HDD for errors.

Download HD Tune and save the file.
Install HD Tune and restart it after installation.
Then go to the tab Error Scan , select the hard drive you want to check and press Start .
The check can be quite time consuming take depends on the size of the hard drive check.
Take a screen shot of the result and save it.
Upload it to IMGUR for us. Post the link here.

Do Not tick the quick scan!!
