Email Problem Driving me Crazy!!

Hello - I use Xfinity/Comcast as my email provider. I use Mozilla's Thunderbird as my email app and for the last month or more, I have gotten an increasing number of duplicate emails. I can read my emails in Comcast/Xfinity & the emails are duplicated in that email provider as well. I have contacted Xfin/Comcast & Thunderbird and the only solutions are to block the sender (not possible in TB) or delete them (they appear faster than I can delete them) or set up a filter to send them to Trash which doesn't work because they come in so friggin fast! I am at a loss for what I can try next. Has anyone had this problem?? Have you found a solution? The only thing I haven't tried is converting to gmail, etc but I run a business using my current email and changing has other problems to deal with.

I'd love to hear from someone with a viable solution to post something here please. BTW, Another suggestion is to unsubscribe from the sender. I just have too many!

TIA -

So in thunderbird they email are showing as duplicates?

Is the same thing happening through the website?

Have you tried removing the configuration for xfinity email and then recreating it. Might have to do some manual tweaking Thunderbird has never gotten mine correct when I have it auto config my xfinity.

Compare the two (thunderbird and web) to see if the folder are the same. Like I said above could be a misconfiguration some place.
