Lately, I've been having problems where I get a lot of "Site cannot be reached" or "Page cannot be displayed" messages! This is a relatively new problem and it's becoming very annoying! I've tried rebooting both my cable modem and wireless router with no luck. Not sure how to proceed with this one. The router is an Asus AX1800 dual band RT-AX1800S and the motherboard is an Asus Z590-P. Cable modem is a Netgear CM700.

This will create a file called ipconfig.txt on your desktop.

ipconfig /all >"%userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt

This will produce the Host file that is used to redirect pares and or block them. Save the file to the desktop.

notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Attach both files in your next post.

IF I type in "ipconfig/all" by itself, I see a wealth of information. I I try to go beyond that point, all I get is cannot find the path specified. I know I'm doing something wrong. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.

To get a look at your ip configuration

Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop.

Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator.
When the program opens select the following boxes:

Flush DNS
Report IE Proxy Settings
Reset IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
Reset FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP Configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

You can download the Minitoolbox to a different computer since yours is not showing websites like you stated.

Then manually transfer it to the affected system using external media and then do the same with the MTB.txt file that it creates.

The command can be copy and pasted into the Command Propmt and NOT Powershell.

Here is a batch file that can be ran from the affected system. Just right click on it and select Run as Administrator.

You will need to uncompress the zip file.
