Driver PNP WATCHDOG PROBLEM

Following recent Win10 update I switched on to get blue screen and Windows has encountered a problem and needs to restart

After contacting ****** I am told they suspect that it is due to the Motherboard requiring an update of BIOS

I have carried out a scan and the results are as below but this is all beyond my knowledge of computer workings
Please can you give me some guidance please
From the report - are the updates just the same as updating device drivers ? I suspect it may not be and I could be out of my depth so any information would be gratly appreciated I have head that updating BIOS can be risky and end up being useless
But at moment its working (I am sending this message) although it gave blue screen 3 times before rolling back to previous version of Win10

Hi Mal been having fun galore (not)!
Despite disabling seems to want to update the features which are causing problem so not sure whether you received the two reports I eventually got done
Pls let me know and if not will try again
As I say critical updates were successful it's trying to load features that's knocking it for six!

Not around for long so leave the dmps for now, there is a SMART warning flagged up for the HDD so check that first;

Will just mention that we can see that you have the crapware that is aka Iobit, nothing good ever comes from such rubbish and the so called driver booster nonsense causes all sorts of problems on its own

As stated being only a "user" I tend to take advice from others who maybe act as though they're in the know and trying to help
The supplier who built the Pc for me to do CAD work on whilst still working (. I'm now retired) was asked to put me a decent spec together and as he'd built me 3 previously that caused not one bit of bother I trusted him
Sadly he's now had to close (health probs) otherwise he would have been 1st call - so as you fellas have helped in the past I thought I'd ask you rather than sticking a pin in local PC suppliers ( bit of background info)
The "crap" you mentioned - again I was informed helped others Vest la vie!
Will do as you advise tomorrow and report back
Do you want me to uninstall problem causing software or wait till you've given it more consideration
Because of Win10 update prob Id approached them initially and after hands on control and quite a number of sessions concluded it could be the Foxconn Bios that was incompatible
At moment disabled updates as features wouldn't load and kept giving topic message above - so I've stopped auto updates for now Is that ok?- and when it's occurred I've reverted back to previous version that was working ok
Hope the above novel provides SOME info that's useful but any way I can help further just ask but don't go too deep as tech knowledge Def limited

Crystal Disk is also warning of HDD failure so before doing anything else you should back up all important data from the HDD.

Rather than fully shutting down Windows I suggest that for now you leave the computer in stand by until you have 1: backed up your data and 2: downloaded a Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft ready for clean installing Windows, you should also make sure that you have all of the drivers that will be required once Windows has been installed, for Windows you need an 8GB or above USB thumb drive and for your MB etc drivers you can either put them on a small capacity thumb drive or save them to one of your present storage devices.

As the flaky drive is the boot device I would suggest that it be replaced with a 256GB or above SSD, HDDs are becoming a thing of the past and I for one wonder if that is why the quality of Seagate HDDs is not what it once was :(

Once all of the above has been done we can provide the info for testing the drive if you wish, it is not advisable to test it atm as the drive could fall over while being tested.

If using a computer and not a mobile phone, please avoid adding multiple posts while waiting for us to reply to your last, edit your last post to include anything that you wish to add, this will ensure nothing gets overlooked which can sometimes happen if a thread has more than one page, it also avoids filling up folks inbox
