Solved Downloaded file being deleted by Avast Antivirus?

So, I downloaded a bunch of files that were archived by WinRAR. My goal with these files was for them to be extracted to my USB drive. After performing this process and ejecting my USB drive, I reinserted my USB to make sure the files were on there. They weren't. Come to find out it was my Avast Antivirus that was deleting them. So, how do I make exceptions in Avast regarding these files so they won't get deleted again?
