I just found out its a netgear router so that will be OK. One other question I have a network printer on citrix.

If I was to connect the lead from the network socket into the internet socket on the router and then run a lead from a lan socket to the printer would it still print off the network and would I be able to print stuff from a laptop wireless thats not connected to the network?

Its a work network. Issue is I have a laptop and everyone else a igel.

I at present use a network lead but im trying to use the laptop around the building on wifi and if poss be able to print off stuff from PC at not on network

I do have a spare network socket that I can connect router to via its own lead of that helps

We can no longer assist with this since it is a work and or business. You will need to contact the companies IT department.
