Different HDDs starts clicking and becomes unresponsive occasionally

Hello,

I built a new system few months ago. I am facing this weird issue regarding HDD. I have tested four different HDDS so far. First week or so hdd works fine then it starts clicking randomly and even completely unresponsive at times. Fiddeling with SATA cable, changing SATA port or changing power cables solves the issue sometimes but it starts happening again a few days later. One drive is working fine since a month but other drive is giving issues now and then. I do not understand what is causing this.
Following are my system specs.

CPU 10400f
MB Asua TUF gaming B560m Plus
RAM 8GBx2 vengenance pro
OS drive 500GB NVME samsung
Data drives i have tried 4 different HDD 3.5 and 2.5. 3 out of 4 gave issues
PSU 600watt corsair
OS win11

Are all the HDDs out of the box new.

What type of click is it, the click of death is a definitive sound like no other and not something you will get from 4 different drives if they are new.
