DELL LATITUDE 3580

Hi there,

My husband has a DELL LATITUDE 3580 that he used to use for work a couple years ago.

While doing some spring cleaning, I found it in that attic, and thought that it would be perfect for us to take camping to watch movies.

When I turned it on (for the first time in a bout 2 years), it states that I need to type in a system or administrator password.

When I asked my husband what the password was, of course he said ~ I DON'T REMEMBER.

Can you please help.

It won't let me do anything until I put this in.

If I have to wipe it clean, that's ok, since it's work stuff from years ago.

Thank you so much.

g'day Jamie and welcome to the forums.

sadly, as per Forum rule #13, we can't for any reason, help with circumventing passwords.
if he can't remember it then you will have to, as you say, wipe it.
and being an old work laptop from 2 years ago - that's probably a good thing to do anyway.

look on the bright side - it pre-dates COVID !
