hii freinds,
soory about my english, im from the middle east.
so, i have my dell studio 1558.
the laptop heats up very quick and get very hot, not in normal way. its to hot. sometimes he just shout down.
the fan works great, spining well. and all works good in the laptop.
so, what can it be? and more important what can i do to keep it cool? i have cooling surface but its not enough.
maybe i can replace the fan? what fan will fits on dell studio 1558, and will be better then the original?
thanks! best regards!!!

it's a laptop so fan replacement to something better and/or bigger is out of the question.
at best, you could replace what's already there with the same.
but it sounds like the fan is working, so perhaps look at blowing the chassis out with some compressed air.
especially around the air vents and fins.
take off the back plate if you can and blow that out too.
make sure the cooling platform you sit it on blows directly into an air intake vent on the laptop, otherwise it would be doing little to help.
