damaged videos

hi all,

i undeleted 2005-2009 old wmv videos from 450Gb external hdd/1gb sd card/memorystick,
but that files severely corrupted,
i try recoverit repair for video, yodot, formatfactory, but error/bugs persists,
the files is located on "c:/users/name of user/desktop/steganos updates

I never heard of anyone successfully re-stiching broken, corrupted video files back together.
getting all the video packets back in order would simply be impossible to automate, how would a program know what scene followed what.
each frame doesn't have a date/time stamp.
and then as to the overlaying audio track, left and right channels if stereo, and it is bigger the Ben Hur.

and the grave robbing data recovery program used may not have had the file allocation table available to sequentially hunt down the file clusters in any sort of order. it would be an absolute mess.

that's why we backup! :)

but maybe others can offer some assistance.
