CPU being used more than my gpu after bios update.

Intel i9 14900k
RTX 2080 super
64gb ddr5 ram
ASRock Z790 Riptide wifi
3440x1440 res

So my issue is, before updating my bios my pc worked fine untill recently i was having blue screens. after investigation i found out my bios needed updating. First before the update spec wise my pc was using my gpu more than my cpu in games like Dota 2 for example. But after updating my bios the blue screens stopped but now my cpu and gpu idle around 45-55 dagrees. When it comes to gaming, my pc now uses my cpu more than my gpu even after changing the graphics settings in windows for certian applications. My question is, whats wrong after updating my bios?, why is my cpu being used more than my gpu?, and will rolling back my bios help solve my issue.

UPDATE

After rolling back, the issue for gaming and temos seems to be resolved, but idle temps are still hotter than before?
 
Hello,

13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs have a known defect that can cause overheating and such which Intel should push out a microcode update in a few weeks. Have you checked your thermal paste? Also, you might want to lower the turbo boost through BIOS
 
So the issue is still not resolved, I have had to lower the maximum processor speed in the power plan settings to 70% so my pc will use more off my gpu than my cpu. Unfortunaltydo you think its time for a gpu upgrade?
