I've tried to pull a video from my dash cam - but i think i pulled out the SD card whilst it was still recording - so the video won't play - showing code error 0xC00d36E5!
tried changing to AVI file and using VLC player, to no luck - advice appreciated.

Others may have more input.

While it is always good to seek advice in different places it is not always the case when getting advice to repair things. Following instructions form several places at once and preforming the instructions can cause more damage and issues in the long run.

For VLC try the following steps.
  • Open VLC Player. Go to Tools > Preference > Input & Codecs
  • Select Always Fix
  • Click Save
You might also try a third party converter program.
