Hello, i had several times problem with connecting mobile devices to my home wifi in past , usually Lenovo or Blackview. I think it has something to do with security type maybe mode and channels too, but i cant fix it.
I had to use a laptop hotspot which is
currently
not available. I wondered if it could be done with the second wifi router, because i dont want use lower security type on my current router. Anyway i dont have any experiences with pairing routers. Could you help me solve this problem pleas?

What error messages are you getting?
Have you tried changing the security type and channel?
Do the devices in question have any issues connecting to other networks?

What security is set for the modem?
WPA
WPA2
WEP

You may also want to check and see if the current system is configured to only accept specific MAC and or IP address.
